Princess Vi (ウサ姫さま, Usa Hime) (full name Violet) is the 18-year-old Rabbit Animaloid daughter of Emperor Fred and unofficial ruler of Little Tokyo. She is rather spoiled, selfish, crazy, shallow, and temperamental. She has a tendency to banish all who displease her to Prisoner Island (which is actually a tropical paradise, but she doesn't know it) or, when the former is too crowded, Extras Island. She thinks her way is the only way (which causes problems to everyone and her way doesn't always go her way).

Princess Vi is devoted to her absent mother where their relationship is very unusual and dynamic—-they try to beat each other up when they first reunite. She gets jealous when someone else gets more attention than her. There are a few episodes where the Princess isn't mean, like Son of Big Cheese in where she is nice to the baby and she didn't mind letting the baby draw on Emperor Fred's face.

Appearance[]

Princess Vi has pink hair and red eyes. She is 120 cm (3.9") tall, weighs 35 kg (72.8 lbs.). She wears a blue kimono with moon symbols.

Family[]

Relationships[]

  • Empress Frieda: She loves her mother deeply.
  • Big Al Dente: He serves as the princess's caretaker due to her father's insanity and the absence of her mother. Al tries to persuade Princess Vi to take her duties and studies seriously, but she tries to avoid it.
  • Lucille: Vi befriended Lucille when she went undercover in Double Trouble for Princess Vi, that said Vi can be jealous of Lucille at times.
  • Speedy Cerviche: Vi has some fondness for Speedy as she finds him amusing. When she was looking for a playmate, she bumped into Speedy who protected her from the bad guys. Later, Princess Vi threatens him to send him to Prisoner Island if he doesn't give her and her mother ice-cream. Later, she banishes Speedy and her own father to Prisoner Island when Emperor Fred ruins her pizza, though she later attempted to retrieve them.
  • Bad Bird: She has a crush on Bad Bird and wants to marry him instantly, however, Bad Bird always tries to run away from her. In the series, she fails to marry him three times (Field of Screwballs, All You Need is Love, and Princess Vi's Hippy-Dippy Mom).

Trivia[]

  • Princess Vi appears to have been added very late in development as she does not appear in the Kyatto Ninden Teyandee Manga by Yoshimi Hamada.
Princess Vi with armor
  • A piece of fanart that is mistaken for concept art is an image of Princess Vi in Samurai Armor by Furry artist Junya Fujita.
  • Her name in SPC is a reference to Diana, Princess of Wales whose nickname was Princess Di.
  • At the beginning of the series, Princess Vi was homeschooled. She was presumably at a 12th grade level. Vi eventually graduated and started going to Little Tokyo University.
  • She sometimes wields a Naginata when she is threatened.
  • The intro of Kyatto Ninden Teyandee features Violet coyly flirting with Speedy and Guido, leading to the two fighting over her. Such as an event never happens in the actual series where the two cats tend to be more afraid of Vi and her wrath.
  • Al Dente and Seymour Cheese are the only ones that stood up to her behavior.
  • She is the only character whose age is explicitly stated in SPC.
  • Princess Vi's kimono is a reference to the Moon Rabbit in Far Eastern folklore. The Moon Rabbit is a mythical figure who lives on the moon.
