Dr. Purple
Dr. Purple (Dr. パープル) is a game-exclusive character in the Famicom game version of "Kyattou Ninden Teyandee". He is a mad scientist who appears behind level 7 as the plot mastermind. where he runs a funhouse labyrinth. At the same level, he reveals Blue Bat, a vampire-like creation of his, which acts as the boss of the level. Later in levels 9 & 10, it is revealed that Dr. Purple has been working alongside Ko'on-no-Kami in the construction of a whale-shaped war airship half the size of Edoropolis, in which the game takes place for the last 3 levels. Throughout the game, Dr. Purple appears to be mysterious and calculating, with a dark aura about him.
Trouble in the Funhouse[]
Dr. Purple's Spaceship
Dr. Purple's first appearance where he first appears to be a ghost in a haunted-looking funhouse. In reality, the funhouse is his base of operations where he designs countless machines and other creations, including Ko'on-no-Kami's ultimate weapon, for which he's been luring citizens of Edoropolis to be used as forced labor. His mechabot Blue Bat acts as the level boss at the end of the stage. Upon the defeat of the boss, Dr. Purple makes his escape in his mini-spaceship
Mecha Dokonjou[]
The rise of Mecha Dokonjou
Dr. Purple is the architect of the whale-looking airship, Mecha Dokonjou, roughly half the size of Edoropolis that he and Ko'on-no-Kami used to attack the city. The airship is shown to be a deadly weapon of mass destruction that easily devastates Edoropolis with little effort. Realizing that they can't destroy it from the outside, the Nyanki then decide to take it on from the inside. The last 3 levels of the game take place inside the devastating weapon. In Stage 9, Dr. Purple's Mechabot No. 2, Yellow Poncho, serves as the stage boss. Upon defeat of Yellow Poncho, and a subsequent condescention from Karamaru, a fuming Dr. Purple decides to take matters into his own hands, where the Nyankiis finally face him again at the end of Stage 10. Initially, Dr. Purple unleashes his ultimate Mechabot, the Red Dragon. The defeat of the Red Dragon pushes Dr. Purple over the edge, after which he decides to confront the Nyankiis personally with his Power Chicken Z Battle Armor. After a lengthy battle, Dr. Purple is finally defeated and blown out of the airship in his personal hovercraft. Deciding that this job was too much bother, he decides to give up and go home, while the Nyankiis proceed to pursue Ko'on-no-Kami, Genarisai and Karamaru in the final stage.

Dr. Purple is last seen in the end credits of the game.
Trivia[]
- Even though he still appears to be at large, Dr. Purple only appears in the game and is credited with all the other characters who take part.
- His machines nearly resemble Dr. Wily's from Megaman.
- In the Vice Translations version, his name is Dr. Whoot. An obvious reference to BBC's Doctor Who.
